How to Create a Field Configuration Group in Swyft AI

In Swyft AI, you can create a field configuration group to either import a CRM object and configure its fields or set up a custom automation. Follow these steps to create a field configuration:

Navigating to Field Configurations

  1. Go to the "Field Configurations" Tab

    • Open Swyft AI and navigate to the "Field Configurations" tab from the left side menu bar.

  2. Select the Team

    • At the top of the page, make sure to select the team you want to apply this field configuration to.

  3. Create a New Group

    • Click on "Create new group."

Option 1: Sync from CRM

If you choose to import a CRM object and configure its fields, follow these steps:

  1. Select "Sync from CRM"

    • In the "Create new group" menu, select "Sync from CRM."

  2. Search for the CRM Object

    • You will need to search for the CRM object you wish to import, such as an Opportunity or Deal.

  3. Select the Primary Name Field for the CRM Object

    • The primary name field should be the “title” property of the CRM object. Swyft uses this field to query and list objects that can be associated with a meeting. For example, when syncing the Account/Company object, select “Company name” as the primary name field. This allows users to search for companies by their “Company name” when associating an Account/Company with a meeting. The primary name field should be a property that is both descriptive and unique to the CRM object.

  4. Create the Group

    • Click "Create Group" to import the CRM Object into Swyft AI.

  5. Search for the Field to Configure

    • After importing the CRM object, search for the specific field you wish to configure.

  6. Configure the Field

    • Complete the configuration as needed for your requirements.

Option 2: Create Custom Automation

If you want to set up a custom automation, follow these steps:

  1. Select "Create Custom Group"

    • After clicking "Create new group," select "Create Custom Group."

  2. Name the Group

    • Enter a name for the group, such as "Swyft Automations," "Enablement," or "Follow Up Automations."

  3. Create the Group

    • Click "Create Group" to finalize the group creation.

  4. Create a Custom Automation

    • Locate the group you just created, and click the three dots next to the group name.

    • Select "Create Custom Automation."

  5. Name the Field and Select Field Type

    • Name the field and select the appropriate field type.

  6. Configure the Field

    • Complete the configuration for the custom automation as needed.
