Name

The display name of the workflow. Choose a clear, descriptive name so it’s easy to identify (e.g., “Auto Update CRM” or “Weekly AE Report”).

Owner

The user responsible for this workflow.

  • Required to enable Error Alerts.

  • Ensures accountability and a clear point of contact if something fails.

Workflow Enabled

Toggle to turn the workflow on or off.

  • Enabled - The workflow will run when its trigger fires.

  • Disabled - The workflow will remain inactive until re-enabled.

Error Alerts

Notifications that are sent when a workflow run fails.

  • Alerts are only enabled if an Owner is selected.

  • Error alerts help you quickly resolve misconfigurations or system issues.

Assigned Teams

Restrict which teams can access and manage this workflow.

  • Only users in the assigned team(s) can view and edit.

  • Helps keep workflows organized and scoped correctly.

Best Practices

  • Always assign an Owner so error alerts are active.

  • Use team assignments to prevent workflows from being edited by the wrong group.

  • Keep workflow names short but descriptive for easier searching.
