Chorus Integration Guide
Last updated: September 25, 2025
Enable Swyft AI to pull your Chorus meetings, recordings and transcripts so you can automate follow ups and surface insights in your workflows.
Overview
Swyft connects to Chorus using a personal API token. You generate an API token in Chorus, paste it into Swyft and we handle the rest. Once connected, Swyft will sync eligible meetings and their recordings from Chorus and analyze them for insights, action items and downstream workflow automation.
Prerequisites
You have an active Chorus by ZoomInfo account.
You are a Swyft AI admin.
You can generate a Chorus API token from your Chorus user settings.
What Swyft syncs
After connecting, Swyft will periodically pull:
Meeting metadata: title, date and time, participants and owners.
Recording assets: links and durations where available.
Transcripts: text used for analysis, redacted when required by Chorus compliance flags.
Swyft stores derived insights and minimal source data needed to power automations.
Step 1: Generate your Chorus API token
Sign in to Chorus.
Go to Settings and open Personal Settings.
Find API Access and click Generate API token.
Copy the token and keep it secure.
Tip: Tokens are tied to your Chorus user. If you rotate or revoke the token you must update it in Swyft.
Step 2: Connect the integration in Swyft
In Swyft, go to Dashboard → Integrations.
Find Chorus by ZoomInfo and click Connect.
Paste your Chorus API Token into the field.
Click Save. Swyft will validate the token and enable the integration.
How authentication works
Swyft uses HTTPS with a static bearer token header when calling the Chorus API:
Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_CHORUS_API_TOKEN>Tokens should be kept secret. Never email or paste tokens into public channels. Swyft encrypts tokens at rest.
Sync frequency
Initial backfill: Swyft queues a pull for recent meetings and recordings.
Ongoing sync: Swyft polls Chorus on a schedule and also runs on demand when you open an item in Swyft.
Security and data handling
Data scope: only meeting metadata, recording references and transcripts needed for analysis and automations.
Revocation: You can always revoke your token in Chorus which immediately disables access.
Troubleshooting
401 Unauthorized when connecting: confirm the token is active and pasted without spaces. If you recently rotated it in Chorus, update Swyft.
No meetings appear: verify your Chorus user has access to the meetings you expect. Only meetings visible to the token owner are synced.
Transcripts missing: confirm the meeting was recorded and processed in Chorus and that compliance settings allow API access.
