The Ask Cortex action lets you query Swyft’s generated Insights at scale. It analyzes the structured Insights your workflows already produce and returns a synthesized answer, trend analysis, or report based on the context and filters you provide.
Context Insights
Choose which Insights Cortex should use as context for the query.
Click Select Insights and pick the Insights you want Cortex to analyze. Examples: Handoff Notes, Next Steps, Risks, Competitors, MEDDIC.
Cortex reads values from these Insights across the scope you define in Filters.
Best practice: Select only the Insights that are relevant to the question to reduce noise and improve precision.
Filters (Optional)
Narrow the data that Cortex will consider.
Meeting Types – Include only certain call types.
Users – Limit to specific end users. You can insert dynamic variables to target the workflow actor.
Teams – Only include insights generated by a specific team.
CRM Records – Filter to associated objects like a specific account or opportunity. Supports dynamic variables.
Date Range – Bound the time window with start and end dates.
Query Prompt
Tell Cortex exactly what to produce using the selected context.
Write a clear instruction. Example: “Generate an executive brief on our competitors over the past quarter.”
Be specific about format if needed. Examples: “Return a 5 bullet summary with a short recommendation.” or “Produce a markdown table of top themes and counts.”
Best practice: Name the audience and deliverable type. Example: “For sales leadership, summarize top renewal risks by theme with counts and example quotes.”
